Agglomets traces its roots back to 1954, when Albert Blashki founded Ace Wire Works with little more than a single spot welder, a cramped workshop and an unwavering belief that Australian manufacturing could compete with the best in the world. Those early years were spent crafting milk bottle carriers and retail display stands — products that demanded precision even at the simplest scale. Word spread quickly among Melbourne's trade circles, and the business grew on a reputation for reliability and honest workmanship that remains the bedrock of everything we do today.
Over the decades the company evolved from that modest beginning into a modern, full-service metal fabrication facility located in Hallam, Victoria. The workshop floor now houses state-of-the-art CNC wire forming machines, robotic MIG and TIG welding cells, automated mesh welding lines, fibre laser cutting systems and hydraulic tube bending equipment. Each investment in technology has been guided by a single principle: give our clients the tightest tolerances, the fastest turnarounds and the most competitive pricing without ever compromising on quality. From one-off prototypes to production runs in the tens of thousands, our capability scales to match the job.
More than seventy years on, Agglomets remains a proudly Australian-owned family business.
