What Our Clients Say
“We switched our guard mesh supply to Agglomets three years ago and haven’t looked back. Their welded panels are consistently within spec, deliveries are on time and their team is always happy to work through design changes with us.”
“The CNC wire forming accuracy Ace Wire Works achieves is outstanding. We order over 40,000 formed clips per quarter and the reject rate has never exceeded 0.2%. They genuinely understand high-volume manufacturing.”
“From prototyping through to full production of our stainless steel trolley frames, the Agglomets crew delivered quality workmanship at a competitive price. Their welding is first-rate and communication throughout the project was excellent.”
Common Questions
What materials can you work with?
We fabricate components from mild steel, stainless steel (grades 304 and 316), aluminium, galvanised steel and spring steel wire. Sheet thicknesses range from 0.5 mm to 20 mm, and wire diameters from 1 mm to 12 mm. If you have a requirement outside these ranges, contact us and we will advise on the best approach.
What is the typical turnaround time for a custom order?
Standard production orders are completed within 10 to 15 business days from approval of drawings. Prototype and small-batch jobs can often be turned around in five business days. Lead times may vary depending on material availability and current workshop load, so we recommend reaching out early for time-sensitive projects.
Do you offer design and prototyping assistance?
Yes. Our in-house engineering team can work from your sketches, samples or CAD files to develop production-ready drawings. We provide 3D modelling and can produce prototypes for approval before committing to full production tooling, ensuring the finished product meets your exact requirements.
What quality certifications do you hold?
Ace Wire Works operates under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. Our welders hold AS/NZS 1554 qualifications, and we perform in-process inspections along with final dimensional and visual checks on every order. Test certificates and compliance documentation are available on request.
Can you handle both small and large production runs?
Absolutely. We cater to everything from one-off prototypes and short runs of 50 pieces through to ongoing production contracts exceeding 100,000 units per year. Our CNC equipment allows rapid changeover between jobs, keeping unit costs competitive regardless of order size.
Do you deliver Australia-wide?
We ship to all states and territories across Australia. Local Melbourne metro deliveries are handled by our own fleet, while interstate orders are dispatched via trusted freight partners. We can also arrange export packaging and shipping for international customers upon request.
